FenceMasters fencing workmanship in New Zealand

PRIVACY POLICY

Your information,
handled carefully.

This policy explains how FenceMasters handles personal information across FenceMasters.co.nz and its city subdomains.

Last updated: 4 August 2026

FenceMasters collects only the information reasonably needed to answer enquiries, prepare quotes, plan work, maintain project records and meet legal obligations.

1. Information you choose to provide

An enquiry may include your name, email address, city or region, fence type, project description, measurements, photographs, preferred timing and other details you choose to send. You do not have to provide information, but we may be unable to answer or quote accurately without the relevant project details.

The website's quote form prepares an email on your device. The form does not transmit its contents to FenceMasters until you choose to send that email through your email application or provider.

2. Technical information

Website hosting and security providers may process ordinary technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamps and error or security logs. Embedded OpenStreetMap content may also receive technical request information under its own privacy practices.

At the date of this policy, the static FenceMasters websites do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies.

3. How information is used

  • To respond to enquiries and prepare requested quotes.
  • To clarify site access, measurements, materials and project requirements.
  • To manage agreed work, suppliers, records, warranties and customer service.
  • To prevent misuse, maintain website security and comply with legal obligations.

FenceMasters does not use a quote enquiry as consent for unrelated promotional email.

4. Sharing and service providers

Information may be shared with people or providers who reasonably need it to support an enquiry or agreed project, such as relevant team members, hosting and email providers, specialist contractors or material suppliers. We do not sell personal information.

Some technology providers may process information outside New Zealand. Where relevant, FenceMasters will take reasonable steps appropriate to the service and information involved.

5. Storage, security and retention

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect information against loss, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. No email or internet service can be guaranteed completely secure.

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, project and warranty records, dispute handling, or legal and accounting obligations. It is then deleted or de-identified where practicable.

6. Access and correction

You may ask whether FenceMasters holds personal information about you and request access to or correction of that information, subject to the Privacy Act 2020. Send the request from the email address connected with the enquiry where possible so that identity can be checked.
